Online chess classes for kids in the UK
A structured chess course with a live coach, twice a week, in English, Telugu or Hindi. We teach from India; your child joins from home anywhere in the UK.
The UK is only four and a half or five and a half hours behind India, which makes it one of the easiest countries to fit into our class times: a late-morning or lunchtime class at the weekend is afternoon or early evening for the coach.
Classes run on Microsoft Teams, in batches of up to 10 children at a similar level and age. Class times are shown in UK time on your device.

India does not change its clocks, so the gap is 4 hours 30 minutes during British Summer Time and 5 hours 30 minutes in winter.

How the classes work
Two live classes a week
Each class is 60 minutes with a real coach on Microsoft Teams, on two fixed days at one fixed time.
Small batches
Up to 10 children, grouped by level and age, so the coach knows every child.
Homework after every class
5 puzzles on the website and a small task. The coach checks them at the start of the next class.
7 levels, each with a test
98 lessons from how the pieces move to tournament play. A test at the end of each level shows what your child has learned.
Reports for parents
A progress update on WhatsApp in your language, and a dashboard with lessons, puzzles, homework and attendance.

Are you a UK chess club?
No. We are a chess academy based in Hyderabad, India. All classes are live and online, and children join from the UK and other countries.
What time are classes for children in the UK?
Each batch has two fixed days and one fixed time every week. Tell us your time zone in the free demo and we will show the open batches in UK time.
What do we pay in the UK?
Outside India the website shows prices in US dollars, before you pay anything. Your bank converts the amount to pounds.
What does my child need?
A laptop or tablet, a stable internet connection and earphones with a mic. A phone works, but the board is small.
